In San Pedro, CA heat, warm air, iced lines, or a tripping breaker isn't something to sit on. Pressure, amp draw, and coil condition all get checked before any part gets quoted.
A refrigerant top-off with no leak search is a classic way homeowners in San Pedro end up paying twice. We pull static and running pressures, check superheat and subcooling against factory spec, and use electronic detection to find the actual leak, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
What every AC visit includes.
Refrigerant work is always performed by certified technicians — a legal requirement we take seriously.
No-cool situations jump the schedule, most San Pedro requests seen same-day in peak season, even during the busiest stretch of summer.
Whatever the repair, the quote holds before work starts.
Sniffers and UV dye find the actual leak point instead of masking the symptom, not just a temporary patch.
The repairs behind most no-cool calls.
We locate, repair, and recharge to spec — not just refilled and sent on its way.
A compressor that hums without starting or pulls high amps gets tested at the windings and start capacitor before we recommend replacement.
We find why the coil froze, not just defrost it and hope.
Dual-run capacitor failure is a leading reason an outdoor unit won't start, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
Debris on the coil drives up pressure and shortens compressor life, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
Electrical faults can mimic total compressor failure, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.
Four steps to cold air again.
Tell us what the system is doing and we'll get a tech moving.
A fully stocked truck arrives within your window.
Pressures and amp draws get measured before anything gets added, then quote a flat rate.
Most repairs finish same visit, covered by our warranty, backed in writing.

What people ask before we dispatch.
Usually a refrigerant leak, compressor failure, or a dirty condenser coil — we check all three and we test each before quoting.
A top-off without finding the source is a stopgap at best, and we'll say so before you pay for one.
Cooling emergencies jump the queue, usually resolved within a few hours of your call.
Not immediately dangerous, but running it while frozen risks compressor damage, so it's worth addressing quickly.
Our focus is central and packaged systems, though we can point you toward window unit resources, and can advise on window units.
You're paying for a proper pressure and electrical workup, not a guess — and that fee comes off the total if you move forward with the repair once you approve the fix.
Our coverage spans San Pedro and the nearby zips shown here — call to confirm same-day.
